Parent Coordinator

Dear PSMS31 Families,

My name is Monse Santana and I am the Parent Coordinator of PSMS31. I am the first point of contact for parents and caregivers at PSMS31. I can help with questions you may have, set up a meeting with your child’s teacher, provide additional information, or refer you to the appropriate contact you might need. I promise that if I cannot find an answer to your questions, I will find you someone who can. My expectation for this year’s school is to cover topics of interest that concern parents. I also plan to bring you various workshops that are to help our families.

My role is rewarding because I get to meet and work with so many wonderful families. I want you to experience the same love and support I felt when my children attended school.

At PSMS31, families, scholars, and educators work together to explore academic and personal growth to develop engaging in relevant educational experiences that foster leadership opportunities for our scholars.

My role as Parent Coordinator is to support the most important people in your children’s lives which is you!  I am here to answer questions and to support you with any concerns regarding your child's academic or social life at PSMS31.  I encourage you to stay informed about your child’s education. I understand that circumstances often prevent parents from coming into the school as often as they might like, which is why I am asking every parent to please provide me with their e-mail address if one is available as well as your updated cell number. I will be sending you updates from time to time via e-mail and through our various communication tools.
